' Gill provided individual weekly sessions for my sons over a four month period. My 12 year old son has dyslexia and dyspraxia. His main difficulties were with his handwriting. My 10 year old son had difficulties with his fine motor skills and he also found handwriting difficult.

 

Both boys found they benefited from the Raviv Method. Their handwriting is much more legible and they find the whole activity of writing less stressful. Now the main goal is to increase the speed at which they write.

 

Gill made sure the lessons were interesting and tailored them to the boys' needs. The sessions were definitely a positive experience for my sons. They have gained confidence in their abilities and that in turn has had a major impact on their self-confidence in general.

 

For an adult aged 30, with dyslexia and memory/focus issues:

 

'I now feel more at home with my memory - the 'screws' feel tighter! My memory has definitely improved. Since doing the therapy I have got a job in the field I was interested in, which was also one of my objectives.'  

 

For a six-year old boy with mild dyslexia

 

We have been delighted with the progress that he has made. He is now reading and concentrating much better than he did in October and is very keen to learn at school, the goals that we all set originally. The work...has been productive and we have found it very interesting and informative. '

 

For a nine-year old girl with numeracy problems
